As our customer base continues to grow, we need another qualified technician in our Birmingham workshop. You'll work across VW and Audi vehicles , from routine servicing and ODIS diagnostics to complex engine and transmission work.
What You'll DoKey Responsibilities
✓Carry out diagnostics, fault-finding and repairs across VW & Audi vehicles using ODIS factory software
✓Perform servicing to manufacturer schedules , major, interim and longlife flexible
✓Complete complex mechanical work , timing chains, cambelts, DSG gearboxes, turbos and engine rebuilds
✓Conduct brake, suspension and drivetrain repairs to a high standard
✓Support and mentor junior technicians in the workshop
✓Maintain clear job cards and communicate findings to the team
Who We're Looking ForEssential Requirements
VW/Audi Master Technician qualified
Proven ODIS diagnostic experience
Strong fault-finding across petrol & diesel
DSG/S-tronic gearbox servicing & repair
Full UK driving licence
Genuine passion for VW Group vehicles

Level 3 Qualified VW Technician

About The RoleWe are looking for a Level 3 qualified technician with solid hands-on Volkswagen Group experience to join our Birmingham workshop. You will work across VW, Audi, SEAT, Skoda, CUPRA and Porsche vehicles, from routine servicing through to repairs, alongside our master technicians.
This is a role for someone who wants to specialise. You will get manufacturer-level tooling, factory ODIS software and the support to develop towards master technician level.
What You'll DoKey Responsibilities
✓Carry out major, interim and longlife flexible servicing to manufacturer schedules
✓Complete mechanical repairs including brakes, clutches, suspension and drivetrain work
✓Assist with cambelt, timing chain and gearbox work under the guidance of our master technicians
✓Use ODIS and VCDS for fault reading, service resets and basic diagnostics
✓Carry out MOT preparation and vehicle health checks, reporting advisories accurately
✓Keep clear job cards and maintain a tidy, safe working bay
Who We're Looking ForEssential Requirements
Level 3 light vehicle maintenance & repair (IMI, NVQ or City & Guilds)
Hands-on VW Group workshop experience
Confident on petrol & diesel servicing and repair
Own set of hand tools
Full UK driving licence
Genuine passion for VW Group vehicles

About The RoleVWG Specialists is a growing Volkswagen Group specialist garage in Birmingham, and we are looking for an experienced and motivated Service Advisor to join our expanding team. We specialise in Volkswagen Group vehicles including Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT, Skoda and Porsche, and also work on Bentley and Lamborghini alongside other high-performance and prestige German vehicles.
Our workshop deals with everything from everyday Volkswagen Group vehicles through to high-performance, prestige and specialist vehicles, giving you an exciting and varied working environment. This is a key front-of-house role where customer satisfaction and trust matter just as much as the technical work carried out on the vehicle.
What You'll DoKey Responsibilities
✓Welcome customers, book vehicles in and manage the day-to-day service diary
✓Create accurate job cards and clearly communicate recommended work to customers
✓Provide quotes, estimates and progress updates, keeping customers informed throughout
✓Liaise between customers, technicians and parts staff to keep every job moving
✓Handle incoming calls and enquiries with a professional, friendly telephone manner
✓Drive customer satisfaction and retention, following up to maintain our high CSI scores
Who We're Looking ForEssential Requirements
Previous automotive Service Advisor experience
Strong knowledge of VW Group or a similar premium environment
Excellent customer service & communication skills
Confidence discussing vehicle requirements & recommended work
Strong organisational & administrative skills
